The site for Hollyhock Court is steeped in history, and the development, located on the Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton, will be in keeping with area's historic built environment.
The legendary Thomas Telford, one of Britain's most accomplished builders of roads and bridges was commissioned in 1820 to improve the road links between Wolverhampton and Tettenhall. Prior to this date the only way to navigate to the village of Tettenhall was via a steep hill known as The Rock. This would have involved man handling wagons and coaches in all types of conditions. Thomas Telford had the foresight and ingenuity to see that the road would need to be wider than had been planned and it is thanks to his foresight that the Tettenhall Road (A41) is what it is today - a major link to the Town Centre and beyond.
Hollyhock Court's location means you are well within walking distance of the many amenities within Wolverhampton and Tettenhall Village. The picturesque chapel of St Michael's Church, Lower Green, which pre dates the doomsday book of 1086 AD, is a striking local monument.
